We have a one year old and this has been excellent for us. We've taken it to Florida (no problem checking it, tho now you have to watch your bag limit!) and even tent camping (he slept through the night). It's really light, travels perfectly well and is extremely easy to set up. The only wonky part is folding up the legs correctly when you break it down.
