We recently went on the trip with 9 months old baby. She only sleeps in her crib so there is no way we could sleep with her on our bed during the trip. Pack n play is too heavy to carry...with all the stuff we have to pack for my daughter. If we stayed in the hotel, we could just rent one crib but we were going to stay with friends. A friend of mine told me a story of her friend loving the Babybjorn Travel Crib so I was strongly considering to get something. It is a bit pricey but it is worth getting one.
Before we went on our trip, I had her getting used to sleep in there so put her in during her naps. She had no problem going to be in it. My daughter is really active so need something that will not let her escape.
This is light, easy to put together, easy to carry and check in on the plane. We will bring that to another trip coming up. We recently moved and we used this crip until her crib was ready for her. This was a quick and easy solution for us. We highly recommend it.
